Facebook Chat comes to Live Messenger with Windows Live Essentials 2011 beta

Windows Live Essentials 2011 beta got an update today, and now you can use Facebook chat on Windows Live Messenger. Windows Live Essentials 2011 is also having lot many other updates, but for Facebook users who use to chat on Live messenger, the good news is that now they can use their own messenger to chat with their friends on Facebook. You just need to install or update your Live messenger with 2011 version (latest one), and then you can enable Facebook chat and add your Facebook account over there. Done, after that you can chat with your facebook friends using Live messenger’s chat window.

Here is the “Facebook chat enable” option in Windows Live Messenger 2011 beta,

Now here are 2 people chatting on Facebook chat. One of them is using Windows Live Messenger and other one is replying with Facebook chat. This is a much awaited update in live messenger and finally here it is.

As per the update from Microsoft, more than 50% Live messenger users are using Facebook for social networking. This update is definitely suppose to help most of them to connect with people thru FB chat on Live messenger.
